The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is just a 15-minute drive from Reagan National Airport and within a 45-minute drive from Dulles International and Baltimore Washington International airports.

Ground Transportation to and from Airports

Gaylord Exclusive Express Shuttle to and from Reagan National Airport

The Gaylord Exclusive Express Shuttle will operate daily from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, departing every 20 minutes from the resort's main entrance, and every 20 minutes from the Reagan National Airport baggage-claim level. Advance reservations are recommended but not required. Tickets are available for purchase at the Ground Transportation Desk (Super Shuttle), located on the Airport Lower Level near baggage claim, or in the Gaylord National Resort main lobby. To make reservations, call 301.965.2081 between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm EST. Travel time each way is approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Express Shuttle Ticket Prices:

  • $19 per person, one way
  • $36 per person, round trip
  • $78 one way - for exclusive van service (for 5-10 people) — MUST be booked in advance

Super Shuttle — All Airports

The Super Shuttle operates 24 hours a day.  You will need to use the Super Shuttle or taxicab if you are arriving before 6:00 am or after 7:00 pm.  Travel time each way to and from Reagan National Airport is approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

  • $20 per person, one way
  • $37 per person, round trip (prepaid-only price)

  • Dulles International Airport (IAD) to/from Gaylord National — $85*, approximately one hour
  • Baltimore/Washington Airport (BWI) to/from Gaylord National — $85*, approximately one hour

ExecuCar — All Airports

ExecuCar is a personal sedan service, created to give customers a private, luxurious way to travel. Metrorail - From Reagan National Airport (DCA)

Metrorail service is available from Reagan National Airport.  Take the Blue Line train to the King Street Metro Station.  Click here for a map of the Metrorail system. Once you arrive at the King Street Metro Station, you can take the Gaylord King Street Shuttle to the Gaylord resort.

Connect with the Metro or visit Old Town Alexandria's historic waterfront community via our King Street Metro Shuttle, departing directly from our hotel and stopping at King Street and the King Street Metro stop.
