J.R. Martinez
Interesting - Entertaining - Inspiring
In 2003, Mr. Martinez sustained severe burns to over 40 percent of his body while serving as a United States Army infantryman in Iraq. Since his recovery involving more than 33 surgeries, he has been traveling the country to spread his message of resilience, optimism, and transformation. Most recently, he emerged as the celebrated winner on Season 13 of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. Read his bio.
