Welcome Reception

Welcome Reception FoodSunday, April 1, 2012
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Potomac Ballroom

The 2012 DUG Conference & Expo Welcome Reception is a social occasion that provides a great forum to network with colleagues and mingle with friends. There is no better way to kick off the annual DUG Conference than by attending the Welcome Reception.

We promise you won't leave this event hungry. In fact you might choose to skip dinner after this celebration!

Remember, your first drink is on us. After that, the cash bars are open.

New to the DUG Conference?

If you are new to Datatel's client community or this is your first DUG Conference, please come by the First-Timers Table at the Welcome Reception and meet the DUG Board. You'll make new acquaintances and learn how to get the most value from your 2012 DUG experience.

So come by and say hello! We're always glad to meet our new DUG Conference attendees!

Spotlight on Partnerships

Monday, April 2, 2012
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

NEW THIS YEAR! — Would you like the opportunity to meet with Datatel legacy partners outside the hustle and bustle of the Expo Hall?  Want more time to chat about a product or service for your institution without having to worry about running to your next session? Then plan on visiting with select partners – outside the Expo Hall – on Monday evening between 7:00pm and 9:00 pm for Spotlight on Partnerships. Invitations will be sent directly from the participating partners, so be on the lookout for additional information!

Networking Luncheon

Tuesday, April 3, 2012
11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Potomac Ballroom

NEW THIS YEAR! — Effective networking among conference participants is a distinctive hallmark of the DUG Conference. Clients consistently comment that networking at the DUG Conference is invaluable and request that we offer more networking opportunities.  The 2011 conference survey responses were no exception. As a result, the DUG Conference Planning Committee has added a new feature for the 2012 Datatel Users’ Group Conference — a luncheon that provides dedicated time for interacting and exchanging ideas with speakers, colleagues, other clients and Datatel employees. Luncheon tables will be divided by functional areas, allowing clients to chat informally with higher education colleagues who have similar interests. We believe you will find this to be a great occasion to catch up with old friends,  build new relationships, and share with your fellow colleagues in a new setting.
